We describe the general procedure regarding the personal data processing of the users of this website and cookie processing and how we manage your information when you use our website (hereinafter “Website”).

The information and data you provide or the data we collect when you use the services provided by “Rossetto Translations”, such as the use of our contact form, the newsletters, etc., hereinafter “Services” will be processed under the provisions of the Regulation and confidentiality obligations on which the “Rossetto Translations” translation office is based. The data processing carried out by “Rossetto Translations” will be based on the following principles: lawfulness, correctness, transparency, purpose limitation and limitation of retention of data, data minimization, correctness and integrity of data, and confidentiality of data under the provisions of the Regulation. B) TYPES OF DATA

As a consequence of the surfing on this website, we inform you that “Rossetto Translations” will process your data under (art. 4 (1) of the Regulation), hereinafter only “Personal Data”. Particularly, the Personal Data processed through this website is the following:

1. SURFING DATA

The information systems and software for the functioning of the website collect when working, some Personal Data, the communication of which is implicit in the use of the Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified users but by its nature could, through processing and connections with data retained by third parties, allow identifying the users. To this category belong IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users logging into the website, URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) regarding the services required, the request time, the method used to submit the request to the server the size of the file obtained as a response, the numerical code indicating the response status of the server (successful response, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operational system and the information system of the user. This data is used with the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and of verifying its correct functioning (see paragraph on cookies) in order to identify anomalies and/or abuses and is deleted immediately after the processing. The legal basis of the data processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken on request of the website itself (art. 6 (1) (b) of the Regulation) since the data processing is required for delivering the Service. The communication of personal data for these purposes is voluntary but the lack of its communication would make it impossible to activate the services delivered by the website.

D) INTERACTIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES OF “Rossetto Translations”

Furthermore, your data will possibly be processed for the following purpose:

the integration of the “user’s profile” into the Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) of “Rossetto Translations” through interactions on social media pages (for instance messages and/or comments on the Facebook page of “Rossetto Translations” or in any other environment or on any other social media page of the owner) to respond to the general requests for help or general information made by the user.

The legal basis of the data processing for the purpose described is based on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures or responses to user’s requests (art. 6, par.1, lit. b of the Regulation). The communication of your data for the above-mentioned purpose is voluntary but the lack of its communication could make it impossible to meet your needs.

The details of users’ interactions on our social media pages (for instance messages and/or comments on the “Rossetto Translations” Facebook page or in any other environment or social media page of the owner) will imply further processing of your data for defence purposes from abuses and/ or crimes and improvement purposes of the support offered to our users interacting on our social media channels for statistical and/or aggregate processing which allows us to enhance our communication strategies with our online users. The legal basis of the processing for this further described purpose is based on the rightful interest of the owner ((art. 6, par. 1, lit. f ) of the Regulation) regarding the data management of our users.

The user has the right to object at any moment to the data processing for such further purposes for reasons connected to his/her particular situation unless the owner proves the existence of rightful and legally binding reasons to process personal data prevailing over the interests, the rights and the freedoms of the user or to determine, exercise or defend a right before court.

E) DATA RECIPIENTS

Your data will be shared, for the above-mentioned purposes, with:

people authorized by “Rossetto Translations” to process personal data for activities connected to delivering services, who committed themselves to confidentiality or have an adequate legal confidentiality obligation, such as employees or system administrators;

third parties, responsible for managing the website, who act in their capacity as data processing officers;

subjects, bodies, or authorities to whom/which the communication of your data is obligatory due to legal provisions, or orders of the authorities.

F) DATA TRANSFERS

Some of your data is shared with recipients who could be outside the European Economic Area (EEA). “Rossetto Translations” ensures that the processing of your personal data from these recipients is carried out under the Regulation. Indeed, data transfers can be based on an adequacy decision, on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or on another adequate legal basis.

G) YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS EX ARTICLES 15 ET SEQ. OF THE REGULATION

You have the right to ask “Rossetto Translations” to have access to your personal data, rectify, or delete it, or object to its processing at any moment under articles 15 et seq.. Furthermore, you can request the constraint of the processing in the cases provided by Art. 18 of the Regulation, obtain your data in a common format, readable from an automated device under Art. 20 of the Regulation.

In any case, you always have the right to make a complaint to the competent Control Authority (Data Protection Commissioner) under Art. 77 of the Regulation if you think that the processing of your data is contrary to the provision in force.

H) MODIFICATIONS

This privacy policy is in force from August 8, 2023. “Rossetto Translations” reserves to modify or update its content partially or totally due to modification of the provision applicable. “Rossetto Translations” will inform you of these modifications as soon as they are introduced, and they become binding as soon as they are published on the website.
